BESA Group was established initially to assist and provide access to high quality British educational institutions as the UK is justifiably seen as one of the foremost providers of quality education and training in the world and then expanded to partnership with other international educational Providers from over 18 Countries.
We are currently operating in
United Kingdom, Egypt - UAE – Sudan – Saudi Arabia and we will be expanding our work in more countries.
Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives in Pakistan.
- Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand BESA Group's presence in Pakistan.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to adapt strategies accordingly.
2. Business Development:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including international schools, educational institutions, government agencies, and partners.
- Lead efforts to secure new partnerships and collaborations with universities and other educational providers.
- Represent BESA Group at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
3. Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation for the Pakistan offices.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Play a leading role, in collaboration with colleagues, external suppliers and partners in the development of digital products and media for BESA Group in Egypt and the MENA Region.
5. Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve business targets and objectives.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to create and execute marketing campaigns to promote BESA Group’s services and partner institutions in Pakistan.
- Oversee the organization of educational fairs and school tours to enhance BESA Group’s visibility and engagement with prospective students.
- Lead on developing and building relationship with international and private schools in Pakistan.
- Track performance of marketing campaigns through measurement and analysis to understand effectiveness of each campaign and ROI.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of strategies and plans with the Senior Management.
6. Client Services:
- Provide exceptional customer service to students and their families, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist Student Advisors team with the delivery of BESA Group service to corporate standards which meets the needs of internal and external customers to enable the company to meet their agreed annual targets.
- Support and assist student advisors in providing BESA Group customers including student and parents with accurate and professional counselling and advising services to help students choose the best suitable study abroad destination that meets their academic and financial capabilities.
- Oversee the student application process, including advising on course selection, university placements, and visa applications.
- Ensure a high success rate for student visa applications.
- Ensure Marketing database (CRM) are maintained accurate, secured, and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field (MBA or Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within the educational services industry.
- Proven track record of successful business development and operations management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in English and Urdu is required.
Additional Skills:
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management.
- Familiarity with the Pakistani education market and regulatory environment.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Be prepared to work unsocial or varied hours in order to ensure high standards and appropriate customer service; flexible working hours.
