BESA Group was established initially to assist and provide access to high quality British educational institutions as the UK is justifiably seen as one of the foremost providers of quality education and training in the world and then expanded to partnership with other international educational Providers from over 18 Countries.
We are currently operating in
United Kingdom, Egypt - UAE – Sudan – Saudi Arabia and we will be expanding our work in more countries.
Accountabilities, responsibilities and duties may include but not limited to:
1. Counseling and Advising Services:
- Provide BESA Group customers, including students and parents, with accurate and professional counselling and advising services to help students choose the best suitable study program and university that meets their academic and financial capabilities.
- Assist students with their university applications, including gathering and preparing required documents for their choice of programs.
- Assist students with their visa applications and prepare them for embassy interviews.
- Identify new techniques to convert leads into successful applications.
- Contact overseas leads to convert them into deals.
- Support and guide junior student counsellors in their day-to-day work.
2. Team Leadership:
- Manage and oversee a team of 2-3 junior student counsellors, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular training sessions and professional development activities for junior counsellors to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure that the team meets individual and collective targets and maintains high standards of service delivery.
3. Sales and Customer Service:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and recruit prospective students.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets by converting leads into successful applications.
- Respond to all types of customer inquiries, face-to-face, telephone, email, and virtual platforms, according to Customer Service Excellence standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing student inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
4. Event Management and Promotion:
- Assist the marketing team in preparing and organizing meetings and presentations at international schools in Pakistan.
- Assist in presenting BESA Group’s services to students at international schools, promoting study abroad opportunities.
- Assist in organizing educational fairs and other promotional events, ensuring successful execution from planning to post-event evaluation.
- Support marketing team in choosing appropriate venues for events and managing logistics.
5. Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and application databases.
- Prepare regular reports on counselling activities, student applications, and sales performance.
- Register customers and collect administrative fees where required.
- Use relevant systems to maintain records and complete daily reconciliations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counselling, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in student counselling, sales, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of the education market in Pakistan and study abroad processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in English and Urdu is required.
- Sales-driven with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of visa application procedures is a plus.
Other Important Features:
- Be prepared to work unsocial or varied hours to ensure high standards and appropriate customer service; flexible working hours.
- The customer service may operate 6 days a week, from morning to evening. The job holder will be expected to work in some evenings according to schedule.
- The postholder will work on a 5-day week shift basis and is entitled to 2 days off, which may not be consecutive.
- Flexibility in adjusting hours of work is essential when there is an operational need to do so.
