Huddersfield University Named as Best UK University Under 50 years old.

The University of Huddersfield has been recognised as the best UK university under 50 years
old, according to the latest Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings 2024.


The Young University Rankings assess the top universities under 50 years of age, and in 2024,
673 institutions were evaluated.

 

Huddersfield distinguished itself with outstanding scores in research quality and international outlook, placing it 88th globally. Over the past year, the University of Huddersfield has achieved significant milestones, including its leading position in the 2024 Young University Rankings. The University earned a Gold rating in the latest Teaching Excellence Framework and saw Huddersfield Business School named
Business School of the Year at the Times Higher Education Awards 2023, thanks to its impactful community engagement and contributions to the local economy.

 

Additionally, the University excelled in the 2024 QS World University Rankings by Subject, ranking among the world’s top 300 institutions in 13 subjects.


The University of Huddersfield also boasts a 5-star rating from QS Stars, recognising its
excellence in teaching, employability, facilities, innovation, internationalisation, and
inclusiveness. This broad range of strengths highlights Huddersfield's commitment to providing
